PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality informing device of an elevator capable of surely informing abnormalities to a control center. SOLUTION: An emergency informing device of an elevator having an interphone 4 capable of communicating with the outside in a car 1 is provided with a recording means (5) recording the voice of passengers confined in the car 1, filing means (6) filing the recorded voice, and a communication means (7) transmitting the file to the control center 3 via e-mail. In the case of not being able to connect the interphone to the outside due to some reasons when confinement occurs, the passengers can record their voice to the effect that they are confined in the car 1 through the recording means (5) and make a file of this recorded voice to be transmitted to the control center 3 in the form of e-mail.
