The device has a pyrotechnical actuator (1) i.e. pyrotechnical igniter, with a guiding cylinder (3) for expanding reaction gases of the actuator. The actuator has an outward guided piston rod formed as an active actuating element (5), and a piston (4) is movable in the guiding cylinder from a rest position to an action position. A pressurizing medium connection (6) provides a fluid pressurizing medium i.e. compressed air, for pressurizing an ignition chamber (2) and moving the piston from the rest position to the action position. A non-return valve is arranged in the connection.
