<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for switching between a normal display mode of displaying a stored image and a mirror image display mode of displaying a mirror image of a photographic image without requiring complicated operation in a digital photo frame with a camera mounted thereon, and to provide a control method of the image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The control method of the image display device comprises steps of: performing, when a proximate object is not sensed by a proximity sensor (S130), a normal display mode that displays an image file stored in built-in memory or a memory card onto a display panel; and performing, when approaching of the proximate object is sensed by the proximity sensor and the face of a person is recognized by face recognition processing from images photographed by the camera (S130, S180), a mirror image display mode that displays a mirror image by inverting the photographic image (S220). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
