<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the acquisition of information on the parents of seeds of plant individuals to be cultured and information on the production process of the seeds. <P>SOLUTION: A plant information management system accepts the input of values indicating seeds to be cultured, acquires values indicating plant individuals produced by the input seeds germinated, accepts the input of values indicating plant individuals to be mated, acquires a value indicating a new seed that is a new variety of seed produced by the input plant individuals mated, acquires information indicating the storage location of the new seed, relationally registers as a project database the values indicating the seeds cultured, the values indicating the plant individuals mated, the value indicating the new seed and information on the process of producing the new seed, and relationally registers as a seed database the value indicating the new seed, the values indicating the plant individuals mated and the storage location of the new seed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
