<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor which is achieved in the improvement of handling performance including the assembling work of the motor by preventing the damage of a piezoelectric element by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor is constituted by coating a holding member 15 to a region except for mounting positions of a driver 11 including corners of the external wall of the piezoelectric element 10 which generates oval vibration by simultaneously exciting vertical vibration and bending vibration, a pressing member 13 and an external electrode 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
