<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an antenna characteristic from being deteriorated by a metal surface, regarding an RFID tag and a management system employing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The RFID tag comprises: a substrate 25 in which a ground area 28 is formed from a conductive film 24 over a front surface, a rear surface and a side surface connecting these front and rear surfaces; and a control element 3 provided in the substrate 25, wherein an approximately circular slit-like removal part 26 is formed on the conductive film 24 in the ground area 28 on the front surface of the substrate 25, thereby forming an antenna area 27 constituted of the conductive film 24 within the ground area 28 on the surface of the substrate 25.
