<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for generating an electronic document capable of reproducing a character color, when copying the character code of a character in the electronic document from the displayed image in the electronic document based on images. <P>SOLUTION: An image reception means of the image processor receives an image. A character information addition means adds, as character information, a character identifier capable of distinguishing a character uniquely, a character position showing a position in the image of the character, a character size showing the size of the character, and a character color showing the color of the character to the image received by the above image reception means. A font allocation means allocates a font without any drawing elements as a font corresponding to a character identifier in character information added by the above character information addition means.
