<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control other vehicle even when any information about the other vehicle is not acquired. <P>SOLUTION: A traveling control device for vehicle acquires information on other vehicle (step S8). Before one vehicle enters a curve, the traveling control device determines the presence of an oncoming vehicle which may pass by the one vehicle in the curve section based on the acquired information of the other vehicle (step S9, step S10). When determining the presence of the oncoming vehicle, the traveling control device controls the one vehicle according to the curve in response to the oncoming vehicle traveling in the curve section (steps S11 to step S18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
