<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor preventing performance lowering of the compressor by reducing an abrasion amount of tooth portions of a gate rotor body during operation of the compressor. <P>SOLUTION: A gate rotor 3 has the gate rotor body 30 and a shaft section 40 for attaching the gate rotor body 30. The thermal expansion coefficient of the gate rotor body 30 is larger than the thermal expansion coefficient of the shaft section 40.
