摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing device capable of detecting a substance to be detected in a sample with high precision and high reproducibility. SOLUTION: The sensing device has a prism, a metal film arranged on one surface of the prism, a substrate to which a flow channel for supplying the sample on the metal film is formed and which is arranged on one surface of the prism, a light source for emitting light, an incident light optical system for making the light emitted from the light source incident on the prism at an angle totally reflecting the light emitted from the light source by the boundary surface of the prism and the metal film, and a light detection means for detecting the light generated in the vicinity of the metal film. The incident light optical system is constituted so that a plurality of beams of light different in incident angle and substantially equal in intensity are ejected on the boundary surface at respective positions thereof.
