PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder which allows a user to pull out and cut off paper with one hand and save him/her from looking for the edge of the paper roll in use. SOLUTION: This toilet paper holder includes: a mounting plate 401 put between a back board 201 of a holder body 2 and a toilet wall 1 for installation; a cutter base 402 extending downward from the bottom of the mounting plate; a cutter body 403 projecting forward from the bottom of the cutter base; and a paper cutter 403c on the edge of the cutter body with a V-shaped narrow gap G1 and a cut slit G having inclined guide faces. When part of toilet paper 300 is pulled from holder body and is further pulled downward while pressed against the cut slit G, the paper gathers in width direction and goes into narrow gap G1.
