The present invention relates to an ink-jet recording material for printing with a glycol-type ink which contains 60 parts by weight or more of glycol ether based on 100 parts by weight of the ink, which comprises a support, at least one porous ink-receptive layer which contains inorganic fine particles having an average secondary particle size of 500 nm or less and a resin binder provided on the support, and a front surface layer containing an acryl type resin emulsion provided on the ink-receptive layer.
