The clutch has a path sensor (66) for determining a distance between friction surfaces (4) of a pressure plate and a pressing plate (1) in a tensed up condition. A ramp device is arranged between a contact surface and the pressing plate for balancing of false distance detected by the path sensor. The false distance is determined in the tensed up condition of friction linings and is balanced in a released condition of the friction linings. A set of tooth segments (22) attached to the path sensor is held in the pressing plate in an axially limited movable manner by pins (27).
