The winding form (1) has a helix-shaped wound thermoplastic strip stock. The winding form is formed as a core with a cylindrical section (3) and another section (4) for manufacturing a sleeve end (5) of a windable pipe (2). Units for detachable fastening a heating element (6) are provided directly in the latter section. A heating element is embedded in the material of the windable pipe. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a windable pipe in a helix shaped winding form; and (2) a windable pipe with a recess.
