<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teleconference system which can reduce difference in position or attitude (orientation) between a virtual object which is moved in a virtual space and an object existing in the real space, and to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: A teleconference system comprises an object detection means for detecting real space information about relative position and/or relative direction between at least two objects, and a means for moving at least one object based on an operation command from a server, wherein the server comprises a discrepancy detection section for detecting whether the difference in relative position and/or relative direction between objects and relative position and/or relative direction between virtual objects corresponding to the objects goes above a predetermined level or not based on the real space information, and a control section which determines an operation command for moving an object such that the difference goes below the predetermined level when the predetermined level is exceeded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
