<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium which prevents a change in hue (color change) of a neutral color such as a gray hue, and improves the ozone resistance thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording medium includes: a first porous layer containing silica and caotin polymer having aromatic rings provided on a resin-coated paper as the uppermost layer farthest from the resin-coated paper, the base paper of the resin-coated paper having its both sides coated with polyolefin resin; and a second porous layer in at least one layer provided between the first porous layer and the resin-coated paper, containing silica, water-soluble aluminum compound, sulfur-containing compound, and caotin polymer having aromatic rings whose content is 4 mass% or below to the silica. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
