PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire forming mold which can prevent rubber from being swelled out upon tire forming and can form a tire excellent in homogeneity. SOLUTION: The tire forming mold in which the mold for forming a tire tread is composed of segments split in the tire circumferential direction, the segments 11, 12 being provided with a plurality of pieces 21 to 25, 31 to 35 split in the tire circumferential direction, wherein only one piece 23 of the segment 11, and only one piece 33 of the segment 12 are fixed and all other pieces 21, 22, 24, 25, etc. are movable in the tire circumferential direction.
