PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat in which a fore and aft length of the same can be adjusted by winding in downward and deforming the front portion and in which the winding-in deformation is secured while maintaining the shape holding property of the seat. SOLUTION: The seat 1 has a soft cushion 2, a front inner shell 3, and a main inner shell 4. The front inner shell 3 and the main inner shell 4 basically have such a rigidity that the side face shape does not change and a deformation section 5 where only cushion 2 is present is arranged between the front inner shell 3 and the main inner shell 4. A soft material (a soft section) can be arranged in the deformation section 5. The shape holding property of the seat 1 is secured by the presence of the front inner shell 3.
