PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which user's feelings in using a terminal are not spoiled even when an operating key is depressed before a user is aware of it, and furthermore, current consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus wherein a part of a casing can be opened/closed or slid, when it is detected that a key is depressed in a state where the key is covered with the movable part, no key confirmation sound is output. Alternatively, a key confirmation sound whose volume is different from that of a key confirmation sound output when it is detected that a key is depressed in a state where the key is not covered, is output.
