PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-down prevention device of a cargo handling implement capable of performing cargo handling taking priority of a working radius (working radius preferential cargo handling). SOLUTION: This fall-down prevention device of a cargo handling implement for performing a cargo handling operation by moving a suspender to a target working radius within a maximum acceptable working radius set by a rated gross load curve comprises a target working radius input device 24 for inputting the target working radius, target load calculation means 25 for calculating a target load corresponding to the target working radius by the target working radius from the target working radius input device 24 and the rated gross load curve, and suspender action control means 26 for comparing a target load from the target load calculation means 25 with an actual load, and outputting load adjusting commands to reduce a hoisted load to a load adjusting device controlling the hoisted load when the actual load exceeds the target load.
