PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating mechanism which can be incorporated in the a headrest by a simple mechanism without providing a rotation supporting mechanism of the headrest on a seatback upper part, and rotate the headrest from a stand-up state to a forward tilting state, or from a forward tilting position to the stand-up state. SOLUTION: The headrest with the rotating mechanism of a vehicular seat comprises right and left fixed stays forwardly tilting those upper ends; a generally U-shaped moving stay rotatably mounted to the fixed stays, and in the stand-up state or the forward tilting state by rotation; a rod-shaped stopper laid between lower parts of the moving stay, and abutting on upper surfaces of the fixed stays to regulate the rotation of the moving stay; a bracket mounted on the fixed stay upper part, and having receiving hooks on both sides; and a spring hooked to the stopper at a center projecting end and to the receiving hooks at both ends, and holding the stand-up state or the forward tilting state of the moving stay by tension force.
