PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the variation of a mold opening position every shot, to surely evade, for example, the occurrence of an unnecessary overrun of a mold, to secure a constant molding cycle time, and to increase a speed. SOLUTION: A prescribed speed control pattern A is set up. When mold opening is controlled, in a mold opening zone Zm, mold opening is controlled by a mold opening speed Vm. On the basis of a detected present mold opening speed Vd and a present mold opening position Xd, a slowdown start position Xmc in a slowdown zone Zmd wherein the present mold opening speed Vd at an imaginary stop position Xso becomes zero is forecasted in turn every prescribed time interval by operation. A slowdown zone Zmd is started when having reached the slowdown start position Xmc. In the slowdown zone Zmd, a speed command value Dm corresponding to the speed control pattern A is obtained in turn on the basis of the detected present mold opening position Xd by operation.
