PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve definition of reconfigured images by preventing an individual-eye image picked up by each imaging unit of a compound-eye imaging apparatus from becoming substantially the same.
SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus body 2 of a compound-eye imaging apparatus 1 includes nine optical lenses L11, L12... L33, and a solid-state imaging element 5 for imaging individual-eye images k11, k12... k33 formed by the respective optical lenses. In a case where each of the optical lenses L11, L12... L33 and each of divided regions of the solid-state imaging element 5 for imaging corresponding one of individual-eye images k11, k12... k33 are defined as one imaging unit U, an optical imaging condition becomes randomly different for each imaging unit U. Specifically, focal distances f11, f12... f33 of the nine optical lenses L11, L12... L33 are set to be random values, and the interval of the optical lenses L11, L12... L33 along a direction parallel to the surface of the solid-state imaging element 5 becomes an amount that is random for each pair of adjacent optical lenses.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
