PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of imaging a high quality still image during imaging a moving image even while suppressing an increase in cost. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus for imaging an object includes: an image sensor for converting an optical image formed through a lens into an image signal; a signal processing means for performing signal processing of the image signal to output the image signal; a super-resolution processing means for synthesizing a plurality of image signals output from the signal processing means to perform super-resolution processing for improving resolution to output an image signal for generating a still image of the object in imaging the still image of the object during imaging a moving image of the object; and an APC correcting means for performing APC correction for enhancing respective edges of the image signal output from the signal processing means and the image signal output from the super-resolution processing means to output the image signals.
