PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a show case that can muster user's buying motivation. SOLUTION: As the showcase is provided with a distance detector 120 that detects the existence/nonexistence of a human body in a predetermined area to detect the distance between the human body and a product shelf 101 and a display unit 140 that outputs information according to the distance detected by the distance detector 120, it can gradually output information about e.g. a product outline or the like from the distance between the product shelf 101 and the user.
