发明名称 WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND SCHEDULING METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform transmission and reception scheduling to improve total throughput of the entire system, and to shorten calculation time required for scheduling in a transmission path environment for wireless communication which varies from hour to hour, in a wireless communication system equipped with a relay station. SOLUTION: The wireless communication system consists of a base station, a relay station, and a plurality of wireless terminal stations. In the wireless communication system, the base station and the relay station switch between transmission and reception by time-division multiplexing, and a wireless frame is time-shared into: an access zone where the base station or the relay station communicates with the wireless terminal stations; and a relay zone where the base station and the relay station perform communication for relaying. The frequency of the wireless frame is divided into a plurality of sub-channels by orthogonal frequency division multiple access. Out of the sub-channels of the relay zone, those having a low transmission efficiency in communication between the base station and the relay station are assigned for communication between the base station and the wireless terminal stations.
