PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing and adjusting device having two-degree-of-freedom, which is provided with a conventional type fixing and adjusting assembly having six-degree-of-freedom and assembled by three groups. SOLUTION: The device for fixing and adjusting an element to be supported comprises: a support base (1); two triangular levers (6), each comprising two arms (7, 8), which are disposed in a triangle formation and connected at one of the points (9) of the triangle and which are articulated to the base at the respective point thereof, and a first (7) of the two arms of each lever can be extended and connected at the free end thereof to means for fixing (14) to the element to be supported; and adjusting means (5) which are mounted to the base and arranged so as to pivot the second arm (8) of each lever in the plane of the lever.
