PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror adjusting device capable of sharing a tilting mechanism. SOLUTION: In an outer mirror device 12, a housing case 40 is mounted in an outer case 20 of a mirror adjusting actuator 18, an electronic substrate 32 is housed between the outer case 20 and the housing case 40, and the outer case 20 and the housing case 40 form the outer periphery of a mirror position detection sensor 52. Thus, the mirror adjusting actuator 18 can be shared in both the cases where the mirror position detection sensor 52 and the electronic substrate 32 are provided in the mirror adjusting actuator 18, and where the mirror position detection sensor 52 and the electronic substrate 32 are not provided in the mirror adjusting actuator 18.
