PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device, and an image formation method of the image formation device which can easily execute user's specification to printed matter. SOLUTION: At least one setting of imaging discrimination information for imaging as a banner and outputting positions of the banner is acquired in the discrimination information added to the acquired image data, and the output data including the banner imaged in response to the at least one setting of the acquired imaging discrimination information and the outputting position is printed. Thereby, since the discrimination information can be output in the contents intended by the user, the user's specification to the printed matter can be more easily facilitated.
