A tapered key for fastening a water mill of a hydraulic power plant is provided to shorten maintenance man power and maintenance time. A tapered key for fastening a water mill of a hydraulic power plant comprises a key delivering the torque between a water mill and a pump turbine. The key is a tapered key(10). The incline(17) of the tapered key is processed to be inclined at 3°~ 7 °. A stop plate is fastened on the bottom of the tapered key with bolts(12,13). The stop plate prevents the tapered key from being separated between the water mill and pump spindle. |
