摘要 An aluminium wheel plating method is provided to produce an aluminium wheel with superior corrosion resistance against salt or salty water, acid-resistant and abrasion resistance and to improve glossiness of the aluminium wheel surface. An aluminium wheel plating method is as follows. Foreign materials on an aluminium wheel surface are removed using shot balls, thereby improving cohesive property of coating. A bath cleaning, pre-degreasing, main degreasing, first and second washing, neutralization, third and fourth washing, coating, fifth and sixth washing, rinsing, and dry-off processes are successively performed. Mixed powder paint is coated through coating or electrostatic painting at the total air volume 3-6Nm^2/hr, the power output 15~90%, and generated current 10~50muA. The coated aluminium wheel is dried at 230±10°C for 10 minutes in a dry oven. Polyester liquid paint is coated through air spray method at discharging rate 80~170kfg/cm^2, spaying width 2.5~5.0kgf/cm^2, and atomization of 2.0~3.5kgf/cm^2 in a setting room. Ar gas which is inert gas is injected inside a vacuum chamber so that electrons emitted from the cathode collide with the Ar gas and the Ar gas is ionized. A thin film is formed on the aluminium wheel surface by momentum exchange between atoms going out of the aluminium wheel surface and the ionized Ar gas. A transparent coating is formed on the aluminium wheel surface using acryl powder or acryl liquid paint.
