<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a flexographic printing plate with less environmental load in a shortened plate making time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing a flexographic printing plate includes: a step (step (i)) of exposing a photosensitive resin element including a photosensitive resin layer (A), an adhesive strength adjusting layer (B) adjacent to the layer (A), and an adjacent layer (C) adjacent to the layer (B) to cure part of the layer (A), or a step (step (ii)) where a photosensitive resin layer (A) is exposed to cure part of the layer (A), an adhesive strength adjusting layer (B) and an adjacent layer (C) adjacent to the layer (B) are laid in such a way that the layer (B) comes in contact with the layer (A) to form a photosensitive resin element, and the photosensitive resin element is exposed; and a step (step (iii)) of removing at least part of an uncured portion of the layer (A) by exfoliating unexposed portions of the layer (B) and the layer (C) after the step (i) or (ii).
