INTERACTIVE TELEVISION PROGRAM GUIDE WITH REMOTE ACCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which provides a user with remote access to an interactive television program guide via a remote access link.

SOLUTION: The system comprises interactive television program guide equipment which implements a local interactive television program guide for executing at least one program guide function, and a remote program guide access device connected to the interactive television program guide equipment (17) via a remote access link to implement a remote access interactive television program guide. The interactive television program guide with remote access is provided and the program guide is achieved on the interactive television program guide device. The remote program guide access device is connected to the interactive television program guide device by the remote access link so as to provide a user with remote access to the program guide function.
