<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure and a sealing method of a rotary gas treatment apparatus surely performing inter-zone sealing and outer sealing with simple structure, regardless of presence of large and small irregularities on end faces of a rotor element. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotary gas treatment apparatus, a metallic frame 2 is mounted on an outer periphery of the honeycombed rotor element 1 so as to be integral with the rotor element 1, an outer ring face 21a and an inner ring face 21b are set to appear by forming a step on a flange-like end face 21 of the metallic frame 2, the end face of the rotor element 1 is set flush with the inner ring face of the metallic frame 2. An annular first seal member 31 in slide-contact with the outer ring face 21a, and a second seal member 32 in slide-contact with the inner ring face 21b and the end faces 11 of the rotor element, demarcating the end faces 11 of the rotor element for each zone, are attached to a fixing plate 3 demarcating the end face of the rotor element 1 into at least an adsorbing zone and a regeneration zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
