<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-degradation determining apparatus for determining the degradation of oil by measured data on an electric pump for circulating and supplying the oil, without using a special sensor, when detecting the degradation of the oil circulated and supplied to an engine. <P>SOLUTION: This oil-degradation determining apparatus has an electric current initial value storage means 1 for measuring and storing an electric current value of a driving current as an electric current initial value when operating an electric pump at a specific rotating speed when driving the engine just after exchanging the oil, a pump driving time electric current value measuring means 2 for measuring the electric current value of the driving current as data when operating the electric pump at the specific rotating speed when driving the engine after a predetermined time passes from an oil exchange, a comparing means 3 for comparing the electric current initial value with the measured electric current value, and a determining means 4 for determining that viscosity of the oil is reduced when a difference in the electric current value compared by the comparing means 3 is a predetermined value or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
