<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzer, a sample analysis method, and a computer program for surely re-reading identification information without drastically increasing the entire process time even if the identification information such as a bar code is not read. <P>SOLUTION: Information on a plurality of reading conditions is previously stored. The identification information is applied to one of a specimen vessel, a reagent vessel and a receiving section for receiving the specimen vessel or the reagent vessel to be identified and read out under one reading condition. It determines whether the identification information is normally read or not. If it determines that the identification information is not normally read out, one reading condition is changed and set to the other stored reading condition. The identification information determining that it is not normally read is re-read under the other changed reading condition.
