PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a stator with excellent maintainability, and preventing an edge portion of a laminated steel plate from being rubbed against a positioning pin when a stator member having the laminated steel plate is mounted on a molding. SOLUTION: The method includes: a first step of inserting a stator member 10 gripped with grip hands 14a, 14b into a positioning pin 12 smaller in diameter at a front end side than that at a root side and protruding to a movable mold 15 from a stationary mold 11, which are separating from each other in a horizontal direction with transverse prestress; a second step of moving the laminated steel plate 8 of the stator member 10 into contact with the stationary mold 11 by the positioning pin 12 that is moving means after the grip hands 14a, 14b retreat; and a third step of separating the stator 9 from the stationary mold 11 by a push-out pin 13 after resin molding and gripped by the grip hands 14a, 14b and taking out the stator from the positioning pin 12.
