PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone apparatus capable of performing a call request notification reflecting the intention of a user who originates a telephone call. SOLUTION: A telephone body 20 stores an SIP URI and a status to be made correspond to each other for each of a plurality of call devices 50, 70, 80. The telephone body 20 receives INVITE including the SIP URI of a transmission destination. On a condition that a status stored correspondingly to the SIP URI of the transmission destination included in INVITE is any other than "IDLE", the telephone body 20 transmits to a transmission source of INVITE information for selecting whether to allow a change into INVITE for any other call device.
