PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine that uses a combustible refrigerant as a refrigerant of a refrigerating cycle for cooling commodities such as canned and bottled beverage commodities and that can increase the airtightness of a cover member. SOLUTION: The vending machine with an electric component storage unit 17 disposed therein includes a cover member 18 for covering a source of ignition on the surface of the storage unit 17. When the door of the vending machine is closed, the cover member 18 is caused to abut on the surface of the storage unit 17 to shut off any leaking combustible refrigerant.
