PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of interference between a recording medium and the recording head and to fully ensure a hitting accuracy of ink on the recording medium by conveying the recording medium corrected in an uneven shape under a condition keeping a profile. SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 100 includes a pair of conveying rollers 180 for pinching and conveying a paper P to a recording region of the recording head and a plurality of pressing rollers 188 which face the paper P conveyed by the conveying rollers 180, arranged by intervals along the direction intersecting the conveying direction, and providing a continuous uneven shape in the paper width direction on the paper P by pressing and denting the paper P. The recording apparatus 100 includes a roughly and densely arranged part 200 in which a pair of the pressing rollers 188 are adjoined each other by an interval D1, and another pair of the pressing rollers 188 are adjoined on both sides of the pair of the pressing rollers 188 by an interval D2 narrower than the interval D1.
