<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a cap for a container, capable of holding a high sealed state regardless of a condition of the tip of the mouth part of the container. <P>SOLUTION: The cap for a container 1 includes a top wall 2a located above the tip 1a<SB>1</SB>of a mouth part of the container 1, and a peripheral wall 2b integrally coupled to an edge part of the top wall 2a and for surrounding the entire periphery of the side wall of the mouth part of the container 1. The cap holds sealing of the container by engaging the inner face of the peripheral wall with the side wall of the mouth part. An annular seal body 3 is provided for elastically contacting the tip 1a<SB>1</SB>of the mouth part of the container 1 to hold a watertight state therebetween. The annular seal body 3 is constituted by a main contact 3a directly formed on the back face of the top wall 2a, and a sub contact 3b provided at the most tip end of the main contact 3a and for elastically contacting the tip 1a<SB>1</SB>of the mouth part of the container 1 along with the main contact 3a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
