<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply-controlling device which avoids control in power supply due to incorrect instructions, and also to provide a power supply-controlling system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The control part 102 of the power supply-controlling device determines whether USB power supply is output from a PC 4 (Step S2). When the USB power supply is determined to be output from the PC 4, the control part 102 determines whether a switching signal which instructs a power supply device 3 to be turned off is received from a remote controller 2 (Step S3).
