<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food testing system for efficiently testing a test target. <P>SOLUTION: The food testing system 1 performs the test of the test target consisting of food and includes a light source 10, a plurality of detectors 21-24, and a testing machine 30. The light source 10 outputs near infrared rays and each of the detectors 21-24 includes a spectroscope 21a for spectrally diffracting the diffused and reflected light diffused and reflected by the test target and a light receiving element unit 21c for receiving the spectrally diffracted lights of respective wavelengths to output a signal. The testing machine 30 performs the test of the test target placed in the respective visual field regions 21S-24S of a plurality of the detectors 21-24 on the basis of the spectrum of the diffused and reflected light obtained by the signals output from a plurality of the detectors 21-24.
