<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of optimally acquiring an image having blurrs to a photographic scene in any photographing scene, and to provide an image processing program and a digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing apparatus is provided with: a separating means (20) for separating a subject region (A region) and a region of parts other than the subject (B region), from a captured image; and a blurring means (20) for applying blur processing on at least the B region as a target of the A region and the B region, separated by the separating means.
