PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by monitoring the expiration date of an external sensor such as a gas alarm and setting limits to the use condition of a gas apparatus according to whether or not it is within the expiration date. SOLUTION: When a sensor presence signal is output from a connection determination part 107, an allowable value of a continuous operating time is set to a long time, and when a sensor absence signal is output from the connection determination part 107, an allowable value of a continuous operating time is set to a short time.
