PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical controller for a game machine, which can be stored inside a space covered by an outer cover and an inner cover in the fixed state without boring a screw hole for screw-engagement in itself and without limiting the kind of substrates to be stored. SOLUTION: The controller 1 is composed of substrates 2a and 2b on which various control elements are mounted, a fixing member 41 for fixing the substrate 2b to the outer cover 3, and the transparent synthetic resin outer cover 3 and inner cover, etc. Openings 49 and 49 are bored on the outer cover 3, and the substrate 2b is fixed to the rear side of the outer cover 3 by the fixing member 41 pressed on the rear side with part of the substrate 2b exposed from the openings 49 and 49.
