PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body and a vacuum cleaner by which operability of a lock mechanism when detaching an extension pipe from the suction port body is improved and the extension pipe is prevented from being suddenly detached from the suction port body by the turning of a suction port body. SOLUTION: The suction port body 6 includes the suction port body 25 and a connection pipe part 26. The connection pipe part 26 has a turning connection pipe part 32 turnable around the forward and backward axis of the suction port body 6, a tilting connection pipe part 33 tiltable to the forward and backward movement direction of the suction port body 6, and the lock mechanism 34 as separation means for changing the connection state of the suction port body 6 and the extension pipe 5. At an notched end part 45 of a notched part 43 of a bumper part 30 arranged at a connection pipe attaching recessed part 39, an erroneous detachment preventing rib 46 projecting rearward of the suction port body 6 is formed.
