PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYHEXAMETHYLENE GUANIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE

摘要

A process for the preparation of polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride involves polycondensation of guanidine hydrochloride and hexamethylenediamine taken in stoichiometric relationship. The polycondensation process is carried out in one stage keeping guanidine hydrochloride and hexamethylenediamine solution at boiling temperature of 165-175°С and concurrent excess pressure for 5 hours. The concurrent excess pressure about two times exceeds normal pressure.
