A recording medium, a recording method thereof, and an apparatus of recording/reproducing data are provided to perform a cholesterol numerical value inspection, a hepatitis inspection and a hereditary disease inspection by using a general data recording/reproducing device for a short time. A data recording/reproducing device includes an optical pickup unit and a control unit. The optical pickup unit applies light and records information on a recording medium. The control unit controls the optical pickup unit to record information on the recording medium. The recording medium includes an upper part(100), a lower part(200) and at least one reflecting surface(310). The upper layer comprises a channel inlet and is connected to a channel area. The lower layer comprises one or more channel areas(210) having a diagnosis material. A location of a reflecting surface can be changed according to a light source. Information for identifying the recording medium is provided to the first area of the reflecting surface. The control unit controls to record the channel area and location related information in the second area of the reflecting area. Information about speed/acceleration of the rotating recording medium is provided to the third area of the reflecting surface.
