FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective casing designed to entrap fragments of destructed turbine blade and fan housing. Proposed protective casing comprises industrial fabric wound on the fan housing in blades revolution area, and holding-up enclosure representing industrial fabric made from aramide threads and polyethylene film layers laid thereon. It also includes layers of prepreg made from the same aramide thread fabric. Note that aforesaid enclosure is protected, from outside, by a layer of damp-proof material. ^ EFFECT: reduced weight of fan housing. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
